Day 43 July 18 Lawn Hill-Cloncurry 433km

Drove back through the dirt road from Lawn Hill to get to Cloncurry. There was lots of dust and many big trucks that you had to pull over for and stop on the side of the road because you could not see anything. Here is an example...

Our route took us back through Gregory Downs (where we rafted down the river) and we had a great lunch at pretty much the only building in the place...the pub!

We stopped for petrol at the Burke and Wills road house. Again, this is along the route that Burke and Wills travelled on their ill-fated journey so long ago.
